Dinner w/ the Baluarte crew

Everyone knows that Christmas is the time of the year when people get together. Many dinners and parties are organized in order to gather friends around a table. I attended some of them, but I want to point out one I really enjoyed. A couple of days before New Year's Eve I was invited to a dinner with all the Baluarte crew. I hadn't worked there for a while which means that I hadn't seen most of my colleagues for quite a long time. It was a perfect occasion to keep up with what they were doing and how things in Baluarte where going on.
Besides, another good thing that came out of that dinner is that I got to work again in a wedding in Baluarte last weekend. I had a lot of fun and it's an extra income that helps cover one of my passions, traveling.

New Year's Eve

I'm not sure if I have talked about this before in my blog, but if so please forgive me because I keep forgetting things. And that's definitely not good, believe me. Anyway, I wanted to introduced you to a tradition we have in Pamplona on New Year's Eve. Well, of course we perform the grapes ritual as in the rest of Spain. But we also dress up with costumes and go out at night. Yeah, exactly like in Halloween, expect for the fact that in Pamplona pretty much no one does it for Halloween but for New Year's Eve.
So it's very usual to see groups of friends with the same costumes. That night the party is in the streets and the fun is assured. This year, me and my friends we were dressed as those Jamaicans in the movie about bosleigh. Do you know which one I am talking about? Well, I think it was called Cool Runnings. I'm sure most of you have seen it. Not only did we dressed up as the guys in the movie but we built up cart "like" the one they used. You can judge by the picture, but I think we did a good job. So we drove that thing around, sometimes with more danger than others, the whole night. It was heaps of fun and a great feeling to be in it.
